We are linking a news article from www.building.co.uk here.
In it it states there was “real nervousness” on the part of one local water supplier, Affinity Water, and the Environment Agency, about the project’s 2,000 tonne tunnelling machines “losing cubes of material into an area which frankly they are not used to encountering”.
Also that tunnelling would “come with risks” and there had been a “significant challenge” with dissolution features.
This further demonstrates the risk to our water supply from this project as we have been highlighting.
Hillingdon Green Party is instrumental in seeking the true risks to our water supplies be disclosed.
